From the dark and deathly pits of the underworld, it will call to you: the lust for sin.
It will give you a thousand and one reasons to accept your fallen human nature.
It has studied you. It knows your weaknesses. It knows that which you struggle with.
Remember, however, that you are not your human nature. No, not anymore.
"For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ." - 2 Corinthians 5:21.
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." - Romans 8:1.
Surely, there are times you will fall below expectation. At these times, remember vividly what Holy Scriptures say:
"My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous." - 1 John 2:1.
"Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away." - Acts 3:19.
