This blog just got EXTRA PERSONAL!!!
I conducted a research on myself in one of the finest state-of-the-art facilities on the planet: my room. Hehe. Guess what I found out? Go on… Guess! No? Fine, I’ll tell you.
The BEST part of sleep is just after I hit the snooze button on my alarm! :D
It’s one of the most mind-blowing discoveries of all time!
Take, for example, I go to bed at 10 PM and my alarm starts ringing at 6 AM the next day. Dude, that’s 8 HOURS OF SLEEP! No doctor can advise you to have more hours. For some unknown reason, though, the Ministry of Sleep and Enjoyment Galore (M.O.S.E.G.) in my head has just convinced me that if I hit the snooze button for some extra 5 minutes, my life will be better. I always seem to embrace this message like it’s the Gospel of Truth and Salvation! Any second thoughts coming into my head get INSTANTLY countered with, “It’s just 5 minutes. I’m already awake”, and…
BAM!!! Snooze that alarm!!!
My o my, I have the BEST 5 minutes snooze-time of my ENTIRE LIFE!!! The sleep is just soooo awesome that…
Then my alarm rings; 5 minutes are over.
BAM!!! Snooze that alarm AGAIN!!! Hehe. :D
At some point, I find myself setting a new alarm to wake me up in 15 minutes time.

There are only two steps to end this unproductivity chain reaction:
Whenever there is a gap between the activities you have to do, your brain fills it up with naps, rest, movies, social media, or just plain unproductive boredom! The trick, therefore, is to account for every minute of the day, apportioning just as much time as you want for rest and relaxation. That way you don’t over-relax and get demotivated and lethargic.
It is always best to do this planning the night before, making the timing very detailed and organised. E.g. “… then write today’s blog: 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Read Biochemistry: 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Take a break: 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM.”
If this plan covers the entire day – from when you pray in the morning, to when you pray just before you sleep at night – you leave no room for unexpected naps and subsequent time lapses.
Which brings me to prayer.
Nothing, and I mean NOTHING has more effect than prayer over the course of your day – James 5:16. When you make Christianity your culture, and I mean your TOTAL WAY OF LIFE, everything about you becomes God’s personal business.
He PERSONALLY makes it a point of duty to see that you’re cared for and on the right track (Psalm 23:1, 6). Being the God of timeliness and order that – the very God who created time and seasons – He is more than capable of making unproductiveness impracticable to you.
So get up every morning and pray that prayer that unleashes every potential beyond your imagination:
"Jesus, have Your way in my life. I want nothing more than to please You in everything I think, say, and do today. Amen."
- Planning ahead, and
- Prayer.

Perhaps I am a morning person after all. :)
Have a nice day.
See you tomorrow. :D
