There are problems, and there are problems. How big your problems are depends on what angle you’re looking at them from. Everything on earth looks very tiny from an airplane and bacteria look pretty big through a microscope. What you need to do firstly is get yourself to a higher level.
The Bible says, “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” – 1 Corinthians 10:13.
You already know there’s a way out, provided by God. Now is a good time to thank Him.
“give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18
“His wife said to him, "Are you still maintaining your integrity? Curse God and die!" He replied, "You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?" In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.” – Job 2:9-10.
Scripture says, “I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.” – Jeremiah 29:11
So no matter how bad it looks, Keep Calm and Trust in God. Before your planning starts, God has already planned that you’ll get out of that mess, and in one piece. Lolx.
Concentrating on how deeply you’re breathing is a good distraction from your problems. This temporary mind-shift helps you to separate yourself from all the complaints and worries running through your head. In this relaxed state, you can think more logically.
Talking to yourself is, however, only an alternative. What would be best to do in this situation is to speak to a friend about. If you know that your friend is as emotional as you are, better just talk to yourself than get the situation worse than it already is.
What if your neighbour could lend you a white shirt? You could get one from a store tomorrow morning; just wake up earlier. Or, you could call your friend to come with an extra white shirt to work so you’ll change into it there. See? Your case is not as bad as you think. :)
Secondly, it is a tested and proven fact that your problem grows the longer it stays unsolved. If you don’t clean your room right now, chances are you won’t clean it until after two days. By the way, I have a strong feeling that someone sneaks into my room JUST TO SCATTER IT! It’s clean one second and… PIKITIKPAKAPAW!!! IT’S SCATTERED AGAIN! Lolx. But I digress, so… Pick an option quickly.
Nothing melts the heart of God like gratitude; even humans. I’m more likely to give you a second lollipop if you thanked me for the first; unless I’m already licking the second one… which I usually am. Hehe. :D

So thank God and always remember the lessons your learnt from the problem - they'll help you in future.
My exams are tomorrow!!! :o
Problem solved! Hehe. *winks
See you tomorrow. :)
- PRAY.
